Vanilla Strawberry™

A Vanilla Strawberry swirl for your garden!

This beautiful panicle hydrangea is a breath of fresh air in the middle of summer.

Bred by Jean Renault in France, its enormous flower heads are a perfect blend of vanilla and strawberry, emerging creamy white in midsummer, changing to pink as the night temperatures drop, and finally turning strawberry red.

The red coloring lasts 3-4 weeks and varies depending on climate and growing conditions.

New blooms emerge as older blooms change color for a multicolored effect in late summer and early fall.

Flowers grow upright on red stems then cascade later in the season. Perfect for fresh-cut and dried flower arrangements.

Here are three great reasons to grow Vanilla Strawberry™:

  1. Beautiful enormous flower heads that vary from creamy-white to pink to strawberry red.
  2. New blooms emerge as old ones change color for a multicolored effect.
  3. Perfect for fresh cut or dried flower arrangements.
